oh boy. what's this about PF and leaking the new Jo4nn4 N3ws0m album I hear?

I can't get through the whole thing.

It's beautiful in small doses, but in larger doses, cloying and twee and gets on my nerves. Sorry.

I'm actually finding it an easier straight-through listen than her debut weirdy...

It's gonna take a while for me to form an opinion. Sometimes I think the orchestral maneuvers overwhelm what she's doing, but sometimes not. Sometimes in the same song. It's not as bad as I feared though, there was definitely some care taken to avoid drowning her in an ocean of strings.

I keep coming back to this thought: Pink Moon is to Bryter Later as Milk-Eyed Mender is to Ys.

I'm not sure my opinion is exactly solid, but I still admire what she's doing a lot.

Whether I truly love it, or even enjoy it as much as everyone else seems to is a whole different matter...
