John Justen wants to hit you in the head with a pipewrench. (John Justen), Thursday, 30 November 2006 23:43 (seventeen years ago) link

I just got back from taking my kids to see Santa. I'd be willing to share them with any of you, assuming you'd take them for the next few days.

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Friday, 1 December 2006 02:01 (seventeen years ago) link

I'm not going to work today. I feel like ass and it is far too cold to venture out when you're coughing your head off/can't breathe.

slacker!

Ms Misery (MsMisery), Friday, 1 December 2006 13:09 (seventeen years ago) link

Feel better, Sam, and stay warm if you can. It is REALLY cold up here this morning and I need to drive J. to preschool shortly. I'm not looking forward to it!

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Friday, 1 December 2006 14:18 (seventeen years ago) link

it is 32 here! that's pretty damn frigid for us.

I went back to bed for awhile and am now drinking coffee. good.

Ms Misery (MsMisery), Friday, 1 December 2006 15:28 (seventeen years ago) link

I just replaced a headlight on my car, and I believe that one of my fingers fell of in the process.

John Justen wants to hit you in the head with a pipewrench. (John Justen), Friday, 1 December 2006 16:39 (seventeen years ago) link

HI DERE IT IS 64 DEGREES HERE

ALSO I AM PUKING ;_;

Jesus Dan (dan perry), Friday, 1 December 2006 16:46 (seventeen years ago) link

sick too?

I'm in my sewing room with a space heater and knee high socks. quite cozy.

now only if I could breathe. . .

Ms Misery (MsMisery), Friday, 1 December 2006 16:47 (seventeen years ago) link

Dan, ugh, so sorry you're sick. Puking is the worst.

John, I hope you kept the finger; perhaps it can be gently heated and then re-attached.

I'm warm because I took a shower. But now my hair is wet and I have to go pick J. back up. Maybe it's finally time to buy a hair dryer, huh.

Also, a friend just sent me this link with the message "for the geek in your life...." http://www.thinkgeek.com/ Check out the page with caffeine-related gifts. I don't know if A. would go for caffeine-infused soap, though...

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Friday, 1 December 2006 16:58 (seventeen years ago) link

DAN, NO MAS TEQUILA!

Sorry.

John Justen wants to hit you in the head with a pipewrench. (John Justen), Friday, 1 December 2006 17:23 (seventeen years ago) link

It's not that much later in the day in Boston, John.

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Friday, 1 December 2006 17:48 (seventeen years ago) link

Ha ha, so I mentioned thinkgeek.com to A. over lunch. What does he tell me? "Oh yeah, I have a wish list there!"

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Friday, 1 December 2006 19:25 (seventeen years ago) link

God, I wish it was tequila and not some stupid stomach bug that I've been battling all week. Nausea + diarrhea = ew.

Jesus Dan (dan perry), Friday, 1 December 2006 21:10 (seventeen years ago) link

Yikes, that is the worst. Sorry Dan. So far as I know, all you can do is wait it out and try to stay hydrated.

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Friday, 1 December 2006 21:21 (seventeen years ago) link

Stay warm, get healthy, and happy weekends to all...

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Friday, 1 December 2006 23:24 (seventeen years ago) link

I have made BARS. PHEAR ME!

Also I have obtained the new Y: The Last Man graphic novel.

AND the Will Smith talk from the past week reminded me of something: A. made a mix tape for me when we were first going out that includes, "Then She Bit Me" (DJ Jazzy Jeff, etc.) To this day, if I say anything like, "I'm going to run to the bathroom," A. will say, "Psyche! I was drafted!"

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Saturday, 2 December 2006 17:31 (seventeen years ago) link

John, 3 things:
1. I'll be by around 5:40 tomorrow.
2. I think that insaney intricate wooden sculpture your father has is made for Japanese Buddhist alters.
3. http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2117

Geza T (The GZeus), Sunday, 3 December 2006 03:50 (seventeen years ago) link

1. WHiskey Dick plays at 6
2. I have no idea what you're talking about
3. My head feels like a bell, ringing with the hungover sounds of pain.

John Justen wants to hit you in the head with a pipewrench. (John Justen), Sunday, 3 December 2006 17:54 (seventeen years ago) link

1. That was the point. to see only the good band. Biotch.
2. He does......biotch.
3. ................bitch.

Geza T (The GZeus), Monday, 4 December 2006 05:43 (seventeen years ago) link

So, how was everyone's weekend?

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Monday, 4 December 2006 17:13 (seventeen years ago) link

insane

Geza T (The GZeus), Monday, 4 December 2006 18:01 (seventeen years ago) link

Mine: also freaking insane. For one thing, I went to a party that had a ice sculpture... of two penguins. (Also a chocolate fountain and an open bar, all v. good.)

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Monday, 4 December 2006 18:37 (seventeen years ago) link

DAER ALMIGHTY JESUS, WHY YOU BRAEK CAR?

John Justen wants to hit you in the head with a pipewrench. (John Justen), Monday, 4 December 2006 18:39 (seventeen years ago) link

I was sick for most of it! YAY

Jesus Dan (dan perry), Monday, 4 December 2006 18:39 (seventeen years ago) link

Dan - I hope you feel better now. (Do you?) I totally dropped your Mom's name at the party, as it was in HSTNGS. (The guy I was talking to was like, "oh yeah, she could have run for anything...")

John - what's wrong with your car? (The mental image of you walking to work in a blizzard - like Michael Landon in Little House on the Prairie - is really hard to resist here, but I'm trying.)

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Monday, 4 December 2006 18:51 (seventeen years ago) link

WOAH SONNED IN A TANK BEEF

(all-morning training session simultaneously suck and rule, btw)

Jesus Dan (dan perry), Tuesday, 5 December 2006 15:25 (seventeen years ago) link

my stomach has been giving me grief since last night. was it the dinner I made?

Ms Misery (MsMisery), Tuesday, 5 December 2006 15:31 (seventeen years ago) link

Sam - feel better. It wasn't the dinner you made. It was GERMS. (Disclaimer: diagnosis might be completely wrong.) Dan - I hope you're better!

J. has a cold and she seems to have croup. This is the conversation I woke up to, for your entertainment:

J: Mom! I had a waffle for breakfast and I sneezed and I coughed and goop came out of my NOSE.

Me: (sympathetically) Oh, yuck!

J: No, COOL!

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Tuesday, 5 December 2006 15:51 (seventeen years ago) link

M@tt He1ges0n (Matt Helgeson), Tuesday, 5 December 2006 17:24 (seventeen years ago) link

Okay, my Dad just called me to tell me that he sent me an email. Does anyone else's parent still not quite grasp the notion of email?

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Wednesday, 6 December 2006 01:46 (seventeen years ago) link

Dude, SaILo got a MySpace message about that.
I deleted it...
I mean, we wouldn't have gotten in, wouldn't have made it to the air, wouldn't have won, and wouldn't have gotten paid(they'd probably pull us off the stage once Al3X started talking about giving everyone AIDS).

In any case, EVERYONE but Whiskey Dick was AWEFUL.
13th Step has a FOLLOWING?
ONE CHORD BULLSHIT with UGLY UGLY people.

The band oafter that was LITERALLY one chord bullshit with a plastic diggerydoo player.
That's when rahb and I left.
