If there's not a Hindu MC named Maharaja Mac then there is just something wrong with the universe.

mikeoptins, I used to work w/ an American guy at the Rec + Tape Exchange and every day he wld travel on the tube from Notting Hill Gate to Earls Court to have lunch at the Taco Bell there

there was also briefly a branch of Taco Bell on Coventry St, near the Trocadero in central London, but it closed pretty quickly. There also used to be a Wendys v. nearby, but sadly they too failed to 'catch on' here in Britishes

Ward Fowler (Ward Fowler), Friday, 16 February 2007 21:27 (seventeen years ago) link

Wendy's is like a big pile of moldy cocks (except for their spicy chicken sandwich which is awesome).

Jesus Dan (dan perry), Friday, 16 February 2007 21:44 (seventeen years ago) link

Did any Americans post who has experienced UK and American Taco Bell?

jw (ex machina), Friday, 16 February 2007 21:48 (seventeen years ago) link

McD's has the best hot fresh fries, but if the fries are likely to be cool, Wendys' are better.

Bellicose Veins (Rock Hardy), Friday, 16 February 2007 21:51 (seventeen years ago) link

why

jw (ex machina), Friday, 16 February 2007 21:53 (seventeen years ago) link

Wendy's is like a big pile of moldy cocks

jesus christ they don't even put them in a bag

Nu-Edward III (edward iii), Friday, 16 February 2007 21:55 (seventeen years ago) link

Wendy's are thicker, and taste like potatoes. McD's fries just taste liek McD's-grease after they've gotten cold. xpost

I don't think you've answered Jon's question!

You haven't.

Cold grease tastes better than cold potatoes!

Jesus Dan (dan perry), Friday, 16 February 2007 22:06 (seventeen years ago) link

Uh, we'll just have to disagree there I guess.

I used to stop in Lodi, PA, every time I was on I-80 W, and we'd go to this really tiny mall with...15 stores and no customers. It was so great.

Beer has diuretic qualities, i.e. it increases your urine excretion more than the same amouny of water would.

-- Tuomas (lixnix...) (webmail), February 20th, 2007 5:51 PM. (Tuomas) (link)

no wonder i pee so much when drinking!!!!

-- hm (mi...) (webmail), February 20th, 2007 5:52 PM. (modestmickey) (link)

The diuretic action of beer is due to the hops resin, which stimulates the kidneys, thereby contributing to the elimination not only of excess water in the body, but also of wastes and toxins. The sedative action of the hops joined with the calorific effect of the alcohol make beer a light and pleasant sleep-inducing beverage. Beer is also known to be a remedy against itself: the unpleasant memory of an evening spent drinking a little too much can become a thing of the past with the absorption of one glass of very cold pale beer, such as a pils.

The second one - not the NumLock thread.

But, really: if you can post bare-ass pics of yourself wearing an apron on the internet, you should be pretty familiar with HOME and END on the keyboard.
