Witchcraft 101 Class Registering Now

Join us Monday evenings beginning the last week of September at Esoterica in Leesburg, VA, for Witchcraft 101. Classes are taught through the Tradition of the Witches Circle, based in Virginia. This class is for those just beginning their exploration of earth-based faith.
The Tradition of the Witches Circle is an eclectic international order of men and women dedicated to the God, Goddess, Elements and Earth. Witchcraft 101 focuses on the history of Witchcraft, the Goddess, God, Elements, meditation, sacred space, tools, rituals, and personal empowerment. The first level essentially serves as a foundation for daily spiritual practice. Students observe the seasons, connect with the moon, and begin meditation and energy work. Classes can be taken individually on a drop-in basis or as a full course, complete with closing certificate. Fully Matriculated students receive one green binder containing course materials printed on parchment paper, a frameable certificate per level, a meditation CD and chanting CD.
The two required texts for Matriculated Students are Origins of Modern Witchcraft by Ann Moura and God/Goddess: Exploring and Celebrating the Two Sides of Wiccan Deity by A.J. Drew and Patricia Telesco.
Classes cost $10 per class for drop-in students unless otherwise noted. The cost for the complete Witchcraft 101 course and Matriculated Student Package is $130.00.
