TS: This headline vs. the one about the boy kicking the hawk in the face to save his dog

Too bad he couldn't save the other dolphins from extinction with the power of his Go Go Gadget arms.

yeah no shit.

when i first read this headline i seriously pictured tall guy reaching into some river and grabbing the last pair of living white dolphins by the tails right as they were about to get munched by an alligator or something, thus allowing a species thought to be extinct to continue on.

I didn't know what this guy was going to look like but "animated character" was not high on the expectation list.

Yeah, he looks kinda like the John Lennon on that 70s Beatles cartoon.

You call that a feat? The McCracy Twins from the late 70s once rescued coalminers from a deep well by both sitting in the mouth of the well, then being tugged out of the well in order to create a vacuum that sucked the coalminers out of the well like air-popped popcorn. And they never got the credibility. Fuck humanity.

From this guy's Wikipedia entry:

(The story is similar to that of American basketball player Clifford Ray, who was asked to use his long arms to save a California dolphin in 1978.)
