from the assistant director of communications and marketing -- could be crossposted on the spelling thread, but i put it here out of appreciation for the fact that even state institutions can kick it sometimes:
I am invitinge you to a small, informal inauguration celebration on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in my office. You can expect light refreshments and a photo opportunity with a special guest. The photo op is not something you want to miss!
Refreshments will be available between 8:15 am and 9:30 am or as long as supplies last. The photo opportunity will be available all day. You can bring your own camera or allow use mine.
however i will not participate because i will be celebrating at home with EB and THE CURLER, with bagels and mimosas!

I will be at work u_u I think media might be showing it upstairs but I will probably just feel awkward. Friend wants me to skip out and go watch @ a bar across the street but I don't think I can pull off any delinquency after I ended up off all this week :(
