this worked out well btw--really its mostly rum & hot water w/ some spices and just barely enuf sugar/butter to make it thick & rich

in rummaging through cabinets and determining we did not have a good alcohol for hot toddy, sister suggested hot buttered rum. i said 'oh haillll no!'.raspberry ginger mojitos ensued.
