esoj@w3rk (esoj@w3rk), Tuesday, 12 December 2006 05:56 (seventeen years ago) link

esoj@w3rk (esoj@w3rk), Tuesday, 12 December 2006 23:09 (seventeen years ago) link

The city is totally filling with smoke! I can smell it in here, its making me feel like crap.

Trayce (trayce), Tuesday, 12 December 2006 23:45 (seventeen years ago) link

my office is filling (a little) with smoke. it's kinda unnerving

esoj@w3rk (esoj@w3rk), Tuesday, 12 December 2006 23:48 (seventeen years ago) link

YEah I'm kinda hung over from the office xmas party, so adding all this smoke to the mix is not helping. I cant breathe too good.

Trayce (trayce), Wednesday, 13 December 2006 00:23 (seventeen years ago) link

so you had a good time after all then

esoj@w3rk (esoj@w3rk), Wednesday, 13 December 2006 00:26 (seventeen years ago) link

I "sang" along to half of Blister in the Sun with someone, for some daft reason. I couldnt remember the words! Gah.

Futurama fans: interview with David X. Cohen about the 2008 season!

http://www.wizarduniverse.com/magazine/toyfare/002710592.cfm

(this is the only thread that came up when I googled "futurama" on thehold, so I don't think a whole new thread would be of much use)

StanM (StanM), Wednesday, 13 December 2006 22:04 (seventeen years ago) link

ooh

hey is it my imagination or has ilx stopped making any sense whatsoever?

esoj@w3rk (esoj@w3rk), Thursday, 14 December 2006 01:09 (seventeen years ago) link

http://www.thelostmovies.com/stop_making_sense.jpg

sgh (sgh), Thursday, 14 December 2006 01:13 (seventeen years ago) link

ILX made sense once?

Stan I just read that interview via LJ Futurama comm. Hahaha... "Nudar, the evil alien nudist". If that really IS a new character, I am so stoked for this new series. I love David X Cohen so much.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 14 December 2006 01:23 (seventeen years ago) link

perhaps it's me that has changed. o well

esoj@w3rk (esoj@w3rk), Thursday, 14 December 2006 01:37 (seventeen years ago) link

Loads of ILX is making me shitfuck angry mind you - I've typed and deleted so many posts recently that involve phrases like "tedious pricks all of a sudden". I didnt feel up to the fight tho.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 14 December 2006 01:45 (seventeen years ago) link

fair enough too. caring about a lot of the goings on here just seems like a waste of time. people would rather score points with a flip answer than ever listen to what the other is saying..

esoj@w3rk (esoj@w3rk), Thursday, 14 December 2006 01:49 (seventeen years ago) link

I don't think *I* should comment at this point in time.

editio princeps (pato.g27), Thursday, 14 December 2006 03:58 (seventeen years ago) link

(But I should mention that if it wasn't for mongrels, I wouldn't have backed down and would have said "fuck y'all". So it's all you own fault for being nice folks who know jokes.)

editio princeps (pato.g27), Thursday, 14 December 2006 04:00 (seventeen years ago) link

My butt hurts from sitting in this chair for too long.

How about you, how are all your butts?

It's a hard world, for little things... (papa november), Thursday, 14 December 2006 04:04 (seventeen years ago) link

My butts looking forward to the 22nd of Christmas and a well deserved egg nogg. Anyone know how to make it by the way? Me and my brother tried one year and all we got was like a blended watery omlette that tasted like bourbon. Pretty gross.

badg (badg), Thursday, 14 December 2006 04:17 (seventeen years ago) link

Yeah that sound kinda foul, I'm pretty much universally opposed to any raw egg recipes though.

It's a hard world, for little things... (papa november), Thursday, 14 December 2006 04:42 (seventeen years ago) link

I feel like shite, I think all the bushfire smoke's given me some kind of throat thing. Blerurgh.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 14 December 2006 05:52 (seventeen years ago) link

me too, weirdly - i feel ok but my throat has been really sore for the last couple of days

esoj@w3rk (esoj@w3rk), Thursday, 14 December 2006 06:06 (seventeen years ago) link

Yeah you me and about six other people Ive asked: it has to have been the smoke I guess.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 14 December 2006 06:45 (seventeen years ago) link

Which haha is funny, I mean Im a smoker, I shouldnt be complaining =)

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 14 December 2006 06:45 (seventeen years ago) link

electric sound of jim (electric sound of jim), Tuesday, 19 December 2006 04:06 (seventeen years ago) link

Esteban Buttez will probably be in Melbourne around Jan 3-4 unless The Man gives him an earlier timeslot.

And totally out of Oz by January 8!

editio princeps (pato.g27), Tuesday, 19 December 2006 04:41 (seventeen years ago) link

Trayce (trayce), Tuesday, 19 December 2006 04:43 (seventeen years ago) link

I'm sitting in a Sydney suburb RIGHT NOW. Where's this "heat" I hear so much about? Nothing but southerly winds blowin'...

PPlains (PPlains), Tuesday, 19 December 2006 06:02 (seventeen years ago) link

We had it, then it... I dunno what happened. It went away. We've had weird blustery onshore sea gales all week. I'm sick of this 4 seasons in one day shit.

Trayce (trayce), Tuesday, 19 December 2006 06:05 (seventeen years ago) link

come to perth if it's heat you want, it's hot and humid as fuck. i nearly melted at yoga this morning.

Gem (gem ), Tuesday, 19 December 2006 13:40 (seventeen years ago) link

Oi Jim, can you send me the Mahog track again by any chance? I got a new work pc and seem to have lost the bloody thing (and I wanna listen to it, heh)

Trayce (trayce), Tuesday, 19 December 2006 23:14 (seventeen years ago) link

I had to do a survey of the house at about 4 AM, checking all our electrical christmas light thingys (including an awesome robotic santa claus) because we smelt something burning. Turns out it was the state of Victoria.
