Yea, I work in a public library, and I've noticed that a lot of the YA fiction has an abundance of really specific subject headings lately. I was wondering if this was an attempt to Google-ize cataloging...

I like your headings! Is there any peer review of subject cataloging, or is it just up to the first person who gets to the job? And is that usually the LOC?

Here's on example:

And I remembered this one as having a lot of subjects, but apparently it only has two, rather specific ones

Customers who bought items like this also bought
Blind Submission: A Novel by Debra Ginsberg
The Road by Cormac Mccarthy
Barefoot Contessa at Home: Everyday Recipes You'll Make Over and Over Again by Ina Garten

Congrats, etc. It sounds RUDE.
