is there a sandbox dream thred?

i had a weird dream the other night that i was at a save darfur benefit cocktail party in an upscale townhouse, after which we were taken to radio city music hall. with the audience seated the rockettes came out to do their stage act, except they were all amputees. during the synchronized leg kick routines their plastic limbs kept breaking off and prosthetic legs kept flying into the audience.

my question is isn't this from some movie? like a mel brooks thing or something?

i had a dream last night that i was reading a list of the greatest Metallica singles out loud to a class and #1 on the list was - for some reason - St. Anger and then after I dramatically revealed it as their best single I began to sing it really obnoxiously, aggressively loud (in the dream).

what does it mean???

I had a dream that the apartment above mine flooded, the ceiling paint drooping down with water about to burst into my bedroom, and then I noticed that one ceiling bubble contained a dead cat frozen in terror with its eyes bulging out.

I don't have many nice dreams :(

I keep having dreams that people send me MEAN FAXES, a neverending thermal rollout of meanness.

forgot about this until just now, but a few days ago i dreamt i was in a bookstore and there was a signing for the bestselling new cookbook 'dr. strongo's nuevo cuisine'

i woke up before the author appeared in person, tho

In the midst of standard dream-style wtfery (we were moving from some house where we slept in the kitchen and had no electricity and were planning on opening a roadside luxury portapotty idk) I dreamed I was going to pet a cat when out of nowhere a rooster flew over and beheaded it.

I dreamt I was hanging out with Tuomas in Sweden (?). We were going to meet his little sister and his art friends. He was very tall and then I woke up.

I dreamt I was visiting Emil.y last night o_O No idea how or why, don't even know what she looks like really (apart from a wdyll or two). The purpose of my visit was that we needed to play some strange boardgame with leaves and sticks ~ keeping ants in their place on the board was very difficult too. We *had* to finish the game, for some reason, as if we had to save the world by doing so. That's how it felt. We were very concentrated, drinking lemonade and playing. When the game finished we acknowledged we'd done good and I left again.

i dreamt that i moved into a new apartment that was previously inhabited by an old lady and kept finding new stuff in it:
-a secret screened-in crawl space with toys including hungry hungry hippos
-fridge full of maggots
-a collection of alien memorabilia displayed on the wall (including a laserdisc, the book "communion" by whitley schreiber, and a 3D national geographic with an alien face)
-extensive collection of cramps 7"s also displayed on the wall

it was a terrifying dream!

also between this and my first post on this thread i think i can assume my subconscious is stuck in the 80's
