this record is being reconstructed from scratch. those of you who were measured in the old place must return. those who've been here but not been measured (jabba, jaq), please return at your earliest convenience. and you who haven't been at all: what the fuck. hurry up.

please note: estela's measurement was recorded in october 2009 at sydney's circular quay, and has been notated here solely for comparitive purposes, in order to settle the long-standing dispute between she and ruby. it should in no way be construed as a permanent measurement and in-person appearance for an official recording is required as soon as possible.

<3 i remember jergins was a little bit queasy about us placing our dainty socks directly onto the grimy circular quay pavement.

but our determination to see the project through helped us overcome any reticence, didn't it. it was not the hardest thing by far that i had to do that day. remember how i cried and jergins said, 'there now, stop crying' and you said, 'no, i like it' which made me laugh a little bit through my tears, which i am expert at, by the way.

i am all for crying but that is because i cry easily, i think people who don't cry often take it a lot more seriously than i do, they think it's a sign of drastic sorrow whereas i view it as a hobby.

why did no one point out to me that i spelt estela's name with an extra 'l' on the measuring post?! i could pretend that it was purposeful, so as to indicate its temporary nature, to distinguish it from the permanent mark to come. but i would be lying if i claimed that. was i drunk? mmmaybeeeee. still, no excuse. my apologies, dear friend.

to be truthful i am a sorry dunce at pilates, also yesterday i sent a text to the instructor (who i love) saying i couldn't attend because i was 'suffering from unspecified gender-related discomfort'.

i want to visit in the fall maybe. i am going to start doing yoga again so that when i come i will be at my tallest and i will blow all of you away.

I think we will be seeing Steve back in the PNW at some point though (I hope, what a delightful guy!). Or! when he is visiting Ruby and ytth, they could do the lxy/estela method on paper!

i hope i can come. i should start shopping for plane tickets and ask my boss if i can get a couple days off in october. is there any time i cannot come that month? i'm not sure i should do this, i am trying to save moneys!!!

for an added control, i will measure stevie and myself when he comes here and then bring the results with me in september to see if the ruby measurement is accurate.
