A common dream is being back in high school or at a college the dreamer attended in his earlier life. The dream is that they are going to class and all of a sudden they remember the final exam is today and they haven’t studied all semester so they are in a panic. This dream indicates the dreamer has a goal they have been working towards for some time based on their desires but they have refused to learn the lessons of life necessary for growth to occur, so they are unprepared to utilize the opportunities of life. Another form of this same dream is for the dreamer to forget which room of the school the class is being held in or she may be unable to find her locker to get her books. The meaning is you are unprepared for learning about yourself, for gaining growth and awareness in your waking life, and you need to be seizing the opportunities in life to progress. A school symbolizes learning or a place of learning in the dreamer’s life.

Being in high school tells you that the person is thinking in terms of the old limitation, or accepting the old ways of learning they have outgrown. It is time to expand the type of learning. Time to let the walls of fear down. Time to challenge the Self. Time to seek greater sources of learning. When the dreamer is back in the old high school what happens? Well, he can’t find his locker so he doesn't have the books he needs. She can’t find the classroom. He or she is on their way to the classroom only to discover this is the day of finals --- tests they haven’t studied for all semester. There is always something unprepared in this type of dream. Always something not working right. Always something that’s affecting the learning. That’s because the person is trying to learn as he did back when he was in high school, at a past point in his life that is now over. The person has graduated from that learning. It’s time to seek a more expansive type of learning where the attention is on creating a productive future. A higher learning is needed such as meditation, dream interpretation, or visualization. What is needed could be imaging, more discipline, and goal setting. The dreamer has many avenues for using mind to cause a greater learning than what has come before. The person having this dream is trying to learn the way they did when they were fifteen, sixteen, seventeen years old. And they’ve already moved beyond that.

Sometimes parents have children who experience nightmares. When this occurs frequently there is a need for the parents to examine their thoughts and cause their minds and thoughts to be productive. The parents need to stop any negative thinking and cease arguing. There is a need for cooperation and harmony on the part of the parents. As parents, encourage your children. Be positive and productive in order to eliminate the child’s nightmares for the child receives unproductive thoughts, words, and emotions of the parents and other adults in the environment.

One common dream is being naked in a dream. Usually the dream is moving along and all of a sudden the dreamer looks down and realizes he or she is naked and out in the middle of a crowd. Usually there is some embarrassment associated with this. Clothing symbolizes one’s outer expression. Clothes represent the way we present ourselves outwardly to others in our environment. Clothing is a way of protecting ourselves from the environment. We choose the style and color of clothing depending on how we wish to present ourself to others and for its function of protecting us from the elements. When you are uncomfortable in a dream being naked the message is that you have opened up in your waking life or let down your walls. People tend to present themselves to others and share only a part of their thoughts and attitudes. They fear if they share everything about themselves or just some things they have yet to share then they will be rejected by others. When you have this dream, it indicates a desire to communicate more deeply with others yet there is a wall of protection being maintained most of the day. You did make an attempt to share your inner Self with another during the previous day and now you can do more.

Another common dream is flying. The dreamer is able to fly without the use of wings or an airplane. This indicates that the dreamer in the previous day’s experience was exercising free choice to create freedom and opportunity in the day’s experiences. It also shows an effort to go beyond the limitation of one’s physical existence.

Trying to run away from someone or something and finding your feet and legs are moving very fast but you are not moving forward is a common dream. In this dream it seems as if you are on a treadmill for no matter how fast you run there is no forward movement. In addition, in this dream often there is a fear that something scary is going to get you. Running fast but getting nowhere symbolizes a person who is always trying to do ten things at once but can never seem to get ahead. This occurs because such a person is not being mentally efficient. To be mentally efficient one needs to focus the mind on one place or object at a time until this is mastered. Then the mind is freed to be productive and consciousness can be expanded to be successful at any endeavor no matter how large or how small.

i need some explanation of this even though it is not a dream per se

last night, went to bed. mason jar of water is on the table next to the bed. it's about 8 inches from the bed. not drinking it because it's been there a couple days and i drank it by accident earlier and it was so gross. anyway, i'm sleeping, must have been like 2 am, and suddenly i'm soaking wet going "did i wet the bed or something?!?!!?" no! an empty jar is laying next to me! how could that have happened?????

it's weird that i would have heard these stories and you haven't. anyway, this is what i've gathered: ghosts of lawyers past visit people who are about to take the bar. they don't visit the losers or the no-hopers, usually, but the ones with the *big time* futures. they impart wisdom in the night, and the clumsier ones knock stuff over, to let you know they've been there.

it's not that i don't believe you but i'm still puzzled! how did the jar get from the table to the bed without spilling while i was asleep? there was no water on the floor at all

about 4 am i was awoken by the smoke alarm tweeting at me because its battery was dying. disorienting.

the same thing happened to my old neighbor a couple weeks ago. empty glass in hand >>>>>> lying in a puddle

i dreamt that lxy and jergins had a dog and when jergins left he asked if i could come over and walk the dog, so i went over and lxy was there practicing ballet and she was wearing pointe shoes and stretching and then she had to go be in a performance, so i did the dishes and made tacos/nachos and the dog asked me for some tacos and that was a little weird. then i did those dishes and left. and then i was in my old hometown and going to like stupid football parties and got drunk and drank water and then my sister and i went home and the next day i dug out my old pointe shoes and they were like, disintegrating and too small but i wanted to try them out anyway. then my dad came in with a video camera because apparently they were selling the house (this was some weird combo of my 1st and 2nd homes), and he asked me to take the camera to the window and shoot the view. then i woke up.

i am not remembering my dreams very much lately but when i do, they are quite odd.

last night i dreamed i was having a meeting with my client and had come up with an ad idea for the clowns. in the ad a woman was sitting in a wedding dress with a lot of layers/ruffles and on her feet were giant clown shoes and she turns to her dog and says, "i dunno, do you think they make my feet look big?" what does my dream mean and should i get someone to draw this for marketing purposes?

ok remember that empty glass in hand thing i did? i almost did it again! this time the glass was empty to begin with but i was half asleep and realized i had picked it up off my nightstand and tipped it sideways. waht

i'm also trying to figure out why two men went down the steps to the basement last night and were poking around down there (not in the basement, outside it). it was 2 am, i don't know if utility workers would be around at that time. this was not a dream though.
