HAY...
Can you send me some info about the Solaris svc thing again? I will likely need to run it through this (or remember how to do jsvc) to get it to run as a daemon and hence allow it to open a socket on port 80.

Just like ILX2, the pages are too big for my cell phone :-(

Stan,
I made the new answers page 75 long to try to address this the last time, but am now just getting people moaning that answers are dropping off of new answers too quickly.
There's no amazingly reliable way to tell if a client is a phone or not, but there are some things. It's possible at some point I could try to tell what the client is and do things like:
New answers: 30 No images Only show the last 25 messages
Or something like that.

Though FWIW, it works OK on my phone.
Old ILX worked on my phone (it's a Nokia 6230i) - but I do think it's starting to be a bit too previous-generation for most other sites as well, so I wouldn't worry too much, I'll need to look out for something more modern in the near future.
Unless a lot of other people had cell phone/PDA issues, but I don't think there's a lot of those using ILX.

Although the point where my phone stops working isn't that far away from the current layout, I suspect: I can see the new answers page perfectly, I just can't open threads ("memory is full" - page too big) or login (the data you are sending is being forwarded to another server - continue? Y - invalid page - retry: page not found).
