OK, you're an admin of the ILX Testing Board too, now, so you should be able to move a thread from this board to that one.

i see the admin commands on the ILX Testing board now, but i'm still receiving the unauthorized message when i try to move the thread from here to there.

Hmm... OK, thanks. I can't actually remember exactly how it's supposed to work (months ago I wrote it). It may be that I made you have to be a site admin to move threads, perhaps. I guess in that case, I shouldn't show the option.

Bear in mind you can only ban them from the boards you are an admin of now... They should still be able to post on the other boards.

Of course you banned your own IP address there too! I just got rid of that!

haha! i thought that might happen. figured if it did i could unban from home? CAN a user be unbanned?

i think i've tested all of the admin things that i can see, except for posting as an anonymous admin, which i will do now. all worked except moving a thread to another board.

Keith, when i bookmark a message on a thread and then open that thread from the bookmark page, is the thread supposed to move to the bookmarked message? it's not doing that currently.

also, i like having the moderator functions at the top of the thread. is it necessary to also have them on the new answers page? it's a little hard to look at and maybe unnecessarily redundant. not a big deal either way though.

and one more: i think the other day after you determined that only site admins could move threads, you removed that option from the moderator pages, but now it's back (but it doesn't work still). in case that was an accident....

Lurker, this thread was originally a test thread, but now it serves more as a memorial to the days of sandbox testing, and a place to express your admiration for and gratitude to Keith. He is a local hero, as I'm sure you know, and we can't say enough good things about him. In fact, we DON'T say enough good things about him. Please help remedy the situation by using this thread to tell Keith how great he is.
