sad that i'm not going to this :( a good printer friend of ours is organising a big small-press party to celebrate - he's in dover, delaware, so everyone is staying at his place and then driving to DC* for the inaugration. i think they're also printing off a special broadside to hand out.

we were so gonna go but jordan is out of town for a tradeshow :( and one of my best friends was gonna come over from nz but return airfares just to sf were like $3000.

*LOLZ i just found out last night that washington, D.C. is not like, a state or in a state... america, you are so confusing.

it's a district! it's kind of exciting because it's weird. they don't get nearly the representation the rest of us do. mexico's kind of got the same thing going. have you heard about puerto rico and guam and american samoa yet?
