"The American love of (it’s really true) fantasy vs. (it’s really false–unless we’re talkin’ ’bout Anna Nicole whatshername’s baby[?]) reality hit a new high/low with the jumping bean reaction to a single, precise word in a kids book. I suppose all those little four-year-olds who run around giggling and laughing saying “poopy. . poopy” now have a new one “scrotum. . . scrotum!” Have we gone insane?"
