impermanent rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Saturday, 17 February 2007 03:56 (nineteen years ago)

i do need pats - but also, i realized that i've watched too much tv (mostly dl-ed, but still) in the last couple of days, in some kind of effort to 'catch up' (?), which has messed with my mind.
but it's friday today, and i decided to be stoned, yaay, and also to watch indiana jones in a minute

impermanent rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Saturday, 17 February 2007 04:00 (nineteen years ago)

i had to write the news this morning for site i write for sometimes and i realized, yet again, that i hate the news, esp having to read/skim through so much of it. a bit is fine, but too much is too much, esp on a monday.

hi scottt :)

ethan if i didn't know you found dom funny that would have really hurt

^@^ (map), Monday, 19 February 2007 18:02 (nineteen years ago)

the scale of one to fifteen reminds me of certain parametres on my synthesizer where 15 often means fast and loud. is my domesticity fast and loud or slow and quiet? it varies depending on mood and the weather.
e.g., i recently got bored with my hemp pancake making and switched to making hemp biscuits, which i am proud to have figured out how to make edible and not gross and crumbly; i have many spice jars with spices in them, and eat most of my meals at home (but partly b/c i am cash-strapped); while i went out last friday to tuesday every day and night, i did not leave the house this friday or saturday and smoked more w33d than i have smoked in a long time and watched a romantic comedy that was not actually a romantic comedy, for which i was glad; i have two cats with good personalities; i have a vacuum and a swiffer broom and duster, none of which i use enough; i never wear sweatpants but i do wear yoga-like (cheaper) pants, but only at home or at the gym; i would like a bigger apartment with more windows but worry that i would then spend even more time at home, even though i like home, a lot; right now my hair is in two wound-up pigtails and i have not had a shower yet because i was writing stuff for the internet and then talking to my mom on the phone and then writing about this, which is an is interesting question.

10?

canada is a weird place with a history of producing many boring, if necessary, things for which we compensate by producing a few awesome things

impermanent rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Monday, 19 February 2007 18:11 (nineteen years ago)

these awesome things are then recognized by people outside of canada and then given a kind of smug nod of the head within their own country, eventually to be uncomfortably embraced and later lauded as a Part of Our History

more of them lately, hm - but i don't think they're 'supernatural', just things we have a hard time understanding and communicating with. wld def have been burned during witch hunts.

Took this just tonight, in Edinburgh. Apparently, he moved to Canada when he was 33.

KeefW (KeefW), Tuesday, 20 February 2007 00:30 (nineteen years ago)

ah, but he actually became a citizen of canada, and so, our claim... i mean, i wld share

domestic life:
- i just made the most amazing lamb burgers (ground lamb was on sale yesterday) - they are insanely good. like, i closed my eyes when eating. i should've called a friend or two to come over and eat them. next time.
- i want a dishwasher, one day. and a garden.

impermanent rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Tuesday, 20 February 2007 02:11 (nineteen years ago)

did you get the lamb at the PA?

a mediocre black-and-white cookie in a cellophane wrapper (hanks1ockli), Tuesday, 20 February 2007 02:49 (nineteen years ago)

i did! i was surprised to see it really

impermanent rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Tuesday, 20 February 2007 03:07 (nineteen years ago)

ya?? isn't it always a lambstravaganza over there?

a mediocre black-and-white cookie in a cellophane wrapper (hanks1ockli), Tuesday, 20 February 2007 03:12 (nineteen years ago)

haha lambstravaganza
they do have a lot of cuts of lamb but i haven't seen ground lamb too often, but then, i don't go there v often. lamb seems like kind of a special meal to me due to its price, and yet while the ground is inexpensive it still had gourmet taste A++

impermanent rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Tuesday, 20 February 2007 03:18 (nineteen years ago)

sounds good! did you actually bbq them?

a mediocre black-and-white cookie in a cellophane wrapper (hanks1ockli), Tuesday, 20 February 2007 03:32 (nineteen years ago)

i just cooked them in a cast iron pan - i have no bbq, though that would be ideal. but this way they were super moist due to extra fat not dripping away. which is prob why i could only eat them with salad things and not bread things. and then drink two huge mugs of ginger tea.

impermanent rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Tuesday, 20 February 2007 04:48 (nineteen years ago)
