I fried two leftover turkey wings and coated them in red curry hot sauce over Christmasweekend. I gave one to my dad, because I am good like that.

Jerk is often too spicy for me, I'm sorry to say. I use Teh Tavern for comfort food (penne alla vodka) on nights in, and keep the plastic carry-out dishes for tupperware. Oh, brunches are v good there. Only sadness: their "garden" is actually not open-air so no smoking. :(

I saw a recipe for completely butter free buffalo wings and was like, that is just dumping hot sauce on shit. I am ok with this.

my dad is convinced that they have changed the recipe in the 'original' and that it is now inferior to the sauce of yore... i think he's just getting senile, though i wasn't eating hot sauce in the 70s, so i can't say.

yeah he actually didn't start bitching about it til a few years ago. perhaps with changes in manufacturing/ingredients due to fda and other crap? i dunno... he uses it on everything, not just wings... or he did until i got him hooked on sriracha!!!!
