My parents are asleep, so they won't actually SEE me drunk, but it's hardly a secret thta we were out at the bonfire drinking. I don't think I count. :(

If there's nothing else to dirnk., I dunno. :( I raided my parents' wine rack for a bottle of mediocre Chardonnay after the beerz ran out. THey have better stuff but I felt too guilty about drinking something they bought especially in Chicago.

PS: I'm drunk, but also the marked "home keys" on this keyboard are different from those on my work mac so I keep mistaking the tactile markings and typo-ing.

all my parents drink is gallo wine; i prefer to take my chances with the nips of brandy i got (ostensibly) for cooking. and that's all of like 4 oz. buhsides, there's nobody to drink with. sister's in colombiia, dog's got old. i miss la.

drank so much wine on sunday that i ended up only having 1 glass yesterday! but sunday, man, my cousin broke out this designer cocktail dress for dinner and i was drunk and feeling bummy in my jeans so i decided that the only logical thing to do would be put on my floor length red ball gown, which i proceeded to eat dinner and cook dessert in! not ridiculous at all...

went to the inlaws in Salinas (lettuce capital of the world) for the past 3 days. strict catholic filipino family. sat around watching tv all day. didn't leave the house except to go to midnight mass. on xmas w/the entire family, every time anyone mentioned alcohol, someone else would scream, "but who's gonna drive?!"

the wife and i drove home and went directly to a bar just in time for last call. if you ever wanna see some fucking weirdos, go to a bar on christmas night in the mission.

if this were my family, it'd be the complete opposite. i'd be the lightweight. grandma would be falling over and grandpa would be drinking bathroom gin he made and playing game where you stand accross from someone and throw the knife into the grass between their feet.

friend gave me giant bottle of caramel bailey's. no way it will fit in my luggage so i opened and shared some last night. now having morning coffee with added kick. maybe i can drink 'coffee' all day and be silly by plane time this afternoon? it feels like a challenge, but not so sure i'm up to it.

i am 2nd most sober person at the party, not including the wee children. this is a first, especially since my sis is always the most sober at the party, so it almost doesn't even count anymore.
