i dont object to them on principle but i just feel like theyre not really that warm or suited to the wet v well??

i kinda need new winter boots too but i dont really want to spend the money

ive been hearing that, that they're not very warm or waterproof. i refused to wear winter boots as a kid & wore converse or vans through winters as a teenager & last year had some bs ll beans so these would be the most substantial boots i've ever had regardless. they seem tough though, i'm surprised at their reputation

buy 2 timbs get the second half off at foot locker, we could go in on this lamp divides up to ~140 each

theyre not that warm either although theyve worn p well through the salt and snow

i still dont like winter boots tbh and am never satisfied w/ the ones i find. i was impressed w/ the alden naval boots i saw at a store here but i bet they were $$$ and wld get beaten up by all the salt

i think i am actually too old to wear timbs w/o a major style overhaul

I saw a guy wearing timbs in the snow the other day and they were soaked through I felt sorry for dude

unless you are >150KG / 6'5" tall you may well look like a compensator in timbs.
