my mother and i used to make fun of this show mercilessly. remember all of the kissing of the children? and those skirts. it was one of the weirdest things i've ever seen, except for the live taping of Bozo the Clown that i went to once.

she had a panda-masked character or a panda character in her show didnt she? it has been forever since i saw an episode. it really was weird to my dull american mind.

this crazy high school friend of mine was obsessed with xuxa. he had a xuxa barbie doll special ordered from somewhere and some videos and stuff. I can't explain. he was a weird guy.
