What's the consensus on this guy?

I saw him play last night with Bobby Previte's Coalition of the Willing (whose CD is a bit tame, but the band has been really great both times I've seen them) as well as with the Syncopated Taint Septet.

Thing is, he seems to play in about a hundred other groups. What're some of his better recordings?

Was he on all of their recordings? I seem to looking through the liner notes to one or two different ones and not seeing his name mentioned anywhere.

I'd recommend the most recent Critters Buggin album, "Stampede." From '05? Maybe '04? Standout track that's on some of my playlists: Panang, with horn arrangemets by Eyvind Kang. Dope alien atmospherics.

Eyvind Kang is pretty amazing. I'll definitely have to check that out.
