The Sinfield album is pretty dreadful as I recall, although I haven't heard it since probably 1984. There was a song on it about health food.

Good for you, Tim! I like about one album's worth of material out of their entire catalog. "Touch and Go" from "Emerson, Lake and Powell" is great.

I never bought anything later than Brain Salad Surgery. I like most ofl the futuristic instrumental music on the early albums, though.

There's a 1973 live set from Munich floating around the mp3 blogosphere that's killer. ELP could be amazing at times, though a little goes a long way for me.

Cheers... Will get. There's a room in my flat (which I just got a while back) with weird tread like marks on the carpet. I figure it was probably just where the Tarkus tank drove over it at some point.
