They're saying it around the time where Hip Hop is only being played in the south, cause everyone knows the south is really killing hip hop. Their not going to say that directly cause they don't wanna loose fan base, but that's what their hinting. When the Eastcoast ruled hip hop no one said nothing, when the westcoast ruled hip hop no one still said nothing. But when the south took hip hop, people started saying Hip Hop is dead. Yo the south is killing hip hop right now, their making great money off of it, but in the end the music suffers cause their shit is straight garbage.
