Is in this thread, here.

Gawd bless Mr Drake(sometimes we call him "Bill") and his mad piano skillz. I saw him play last Friday and it were proper good.
Here are some lovely clips of him playing a piano and harmonium(but not at the same time):

Dunno why he doesn't record or release anything, except for, like, 2 songs a decade or something.

Ah, I just found out he released a whole album last week. Seems like he also got himself a new publicist: "while clearly rooted in the same soil as Syd Barrett, Peter Hammill and (distant cousin) Nick Drake, his contemporary counterparts are the American alt heavyweights: Sufjan Stevens, Jon Brion and Mr E. With them he shares the capacity to make seemingly impossible connections. Weaving disparate threads with a sense of playfulness and chordal lushness akin to that of Brian Wilson, his music has a historical span matched only by Dead Can Dance."

...!!!!!?

"...and please note I am not mentioning Cardiacs."

Ha. I was about to shamelessly plug his two new albums released last week, but I might as well do it anyway now...

His 7 year stint in the Cardiacs ended 17 years ago.

That makes me feel old.

Oddly enough, Sarah from the Cardiacs was playing recorder at the Friday gig, and most of the band were in the audience. It was funny old night.
