How about Terry? Sometimes it seems like a guy. Except when he's laying in the dark like an angel on Bruce's chest.

Mark (Mark R), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 13:16 (nineteen years ago)

in the cold light of dawn, i have to say that spanish johnny is my favorite.

a_p (a_p), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 14:05 (nineteen years ago)

Every song on Greetings has a gang of like, ten dudes.

Mark (Mark R), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 14:13 (nineteen years ago)

Such hacky, cliched names! (Just like all those crap Hollywood action movies where the hero's always named Jack.) Pure "West Side Story". Would it have killed him to show a little imagination and conjure up a Preston or a Clifford? Or if those are too WASPy, even a nice down-to-earth Doug would be a refreshing change.

And as for "Spanish Johnny": Wouldn't "Juan" make more sense?

Monty Von Bygone (Monty Von Bygone), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 15:27 (nineteen years ago)

puerto rican jane oh wont you tell me whats your name

69 (pete), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 15:38 (nineteen years ago)

Anyone up in this bitch gonna show love for the Magic Rat?

And don't get me started about the Dude from LA in the Camaro. Bruce drove that Camaro off his back and stole his girl, although in hindsight that was most likely a mistake, because now she sits on the porch of her daddy's house with torn dreams and eyes that hate for just being born. Just being born, people!!!!

kornrulez6969 (kornrulez6969), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 15:50 (nineteen years ago)

I've always wanted to hang with Go-Kart Mozart and lil' Early Pearly...

B-Side dude: Johnson Lanier from "Shut out the Light". His family called him John. He couldn't move his hands.

Mark (Mark R), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 17:16 (nineteen years ago)

and what about Jack the Rabbit and Weak Knees Willie and Big Bones Billy? Are Little Dynamite and Little Gun people?

max (maxreax), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 17:35 (nineteen years ago)

There gonna be there.

Mark (Mark R), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 17:38 (nineteen years ago)

Jimmy the Saint

That pure American brother had a Chevy stocked Super 8 which he used to ride low on the hip. On the side it said Bound For Glory in red white and blue flash paint. Poor son of a bitch never should have driven into that hurricane.

kornrulez6969 (kornrulez6969), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 17:44 (nineteen years ago)

"terry" is a guy i think...i always heard backstreets as a gay epic

bell labs (bell_labs), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 18:35 (nineteen years ago)

Why WOULDN'T Little Dynamite and Little Gun be people?!

Allyzay heard you got beat up in a club. (Allyzay Eisenschefter), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 19:21 (nineteen years ago)

i thought they were metaphors for like... burgeoning sexuality and/or a desire
for escape.

Mean John Brown (the judge in Johnny 99)

fritz wollner (fritz), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 19:46 (nineteen years ago)

This thread makes me depressed because I couldn't name one dude from a Bruce Springsteen song but could probably name like twenty from Les Claypool songs. That is something worth being depressed over.

nklshs (nklshs), Wednesday, 14 February 2007 19:48 (nineteen years ago)
