If you know choral pieces, pls help

So I sang this piece in high school choir - it was like the special choir so it was a pretty complicated piece. i don't know much about it but here's what i know:

-4 or 5 part harmony
-irish, i think
-it was something about the sea, and ships, and wind
-the following sounds seem to remind me of vowels/consonants in the title: veil, shrew, taming of the shrew

i wanna say something ridiculous like "10,000 ships" but i don't think that's it. something about a shore, or the wind, or a veil - and it's so beautiful, there are like cascades of harmonies. i know, how vague. any tips would be greatly appreciated.
