I saw John Dwyer's band open for The Fall and really tripped out on their set. Unfortunately they didn't seem to have anything for sale then and when I got home, I tried looking up some of their stuff. The songs on their myspace (which all seems to be from an album named The Cool Death Of Island Raiders) weren't really what I was expecting. My memory's kinda shot but I don't remember the set being comprised of folky noisy acoustic collage type stuff.

Did anyone see them recently or knows more about them, and can tell me if they do indeed have a new album coming out?

Also, does OCS mark a completely different phase or something like that?

they were good at cmj,dwyer john saz that th newer stuff is more indicative of what they currently sound like
so u will have to wait til that comes out

i have their first somewhere, i really liked it. i like OCS too, tho i find a little goes a long way, and i have their double CD.
