i had high hopes for a new rekkerd, cuz it would have been interesting to see how they might have built upon their, um, premise. they left themselves a lot of room to roam and grow. oh well. they will just do something else. unless they have joined a monastery.

What little I've heard of this band does not live up to the hype for me. They're like Mars Volta for the post-cynical set, lots of intensity but not much else, and completely carried by their drummer.

i've heard only little as well but i was struck by the energy and the hooks were pretty good
