Well? There's a WLP copy of it being sold by a friend of mine right now. I really like Farewell Aldebaran, aside from the first cut. Keep in mind I am big into the soft psych/country rock thing. This question is mostly aimed at Scott Seward.

the first cut!!??? snowblind??!!! what are you nutz?

i never liked rosebud that much. and i'm a huge judy fan, so i was always kinda sad about that. ON THE OTHER HAND, i haven't played it in years, so i should try it again. my tastes have changed a lot. maybe i will love it now. it's around here somewhere.

it's not that it's a bad song, it just doesn't fit in with the rest of the record AT ALL! I dunno. I almost always skip it.

Re-listen to rosebud and let me know what you think, pls. i figure i'll put a bid on it cuz it is pretty cheap and i will not have to pay shipping. but i will not go above $20 or so.

okay, sorry, i couldn't find it. there is definitely stuff on it that i appreciate now at 38 that i probably didn't appreciate when i was 24 or 25. there is lushness and mellowness that is nice. and yester was good at getting odd sounds on wax. but it's still pretty uneven. some stuff like "salvation" that verges on bad 70's airplane/starship. i'd say three or four "interesting" cuts all in all. anyone looking for farewell 2, which i probably was way back when, is gonna be disappointed. but taken on its own, not bad. i still love judy. but it's not her finest hour by a long shot. i would recommend it more to sunshine pop/orchestral pop lovers. if you were japanese you would be home by now.

i like snowblind, tho it does stick out as a weird "heavy" moment (is it some kind of jokey piss take on acid rock or something? almost sounds that way)

I listened to it in a store once and put it back (it was less than $15) if that means anything to you Ian.

Yeah, I bid $15 on it and did not win, and I'm not particularly worried about it.
