I met this girl about eight years ago through a friend, she was a rock critic who knew more about 60s pop than anyone I had ever met.

Now she's a christian conservative abstinence promoter. Only problem is, she's Jewish by birth. She's on the cover of Salon right now with a big interview.

Her life is like something out of a Philip Roth novel.

she used to write headlines for the NY Post too iirc. people having good taste in one area of their life, being clueless everywhere else is not exactly unheard of.
