He writes about dance music all the time in Stylus. Which is a shame because basically he is a dilletante hipster fuck and seems to only have heard of Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos.

Nota bene: before any Captain-save-a-liar attacks me this observation is based on me reading his comments on some Loco Dice track that sounds nothing like Villalobos or Luciano and which he says is the kind of sound "Villalobos and Luciano et al[my emphasis] were doing two years ago".

Problem is people keep calling bands "indie rock" (Decemberists, Modest Mouse, Built To Spill, Death Cab) even though they're a major label. ALL major label music is big business!
