ROBBIE BASHO - Zarthus, Indian II (PREVIOUSLY UNRLEASED), Voice Of The Eagle

ORLY! I absolutely love Basho, even/esp. when he sings.
Also, W. Kranz OTM.

And I agree with Scott.. the Clean Living LP has a jam or two, but it's not a record I EVER wanna listen to in its entirety.

ian (orion), Saturday, 16 December 2006 09:05 (seventeen years ago) link

Ooh, Twilight 22! I've never heard the whole album, just a couple of singles.

THIRD POWER - Believe

if this is the Detroit band who did "Persecution" I WANT!

mark coleman (lovebug ), Saturday, 16 December 2006 10:48 (seventeen years ago) link

speaking of sandy bull, water just put out some live '68 recordings. really nice sleeve and sounds great so far. kind of a companion to fahey's "san bernandino" disc (same show apparently)

amon (amon), Sunday, 17 December 2006 06:34 (seventeen years ago) link

'69 rather

amon (amon), Sunday, 17 December 2006 06:37 (seventeen years ago) link

Wow, I must check that out. Although I just looked it up, curious since I didn't think the San Berdoo B-day party record was live and evidently this was the same night as "The Great Santa Barbara Oil Slick" which I haven't heard of. Still, sounds like something to pick up.

walterkranz (walterkranz), Sunday, 17 December 2006 06:39 (seventeen years ago) link

this was the same night as "The Great Santa Barbara Oil Slick"

yeah i'm stupid, i meant that one

amon (amon), Sunday, 17 December 2006 17:52 (seventeen years ago) link

liners say it's culled from two consecutive dates; fahey was on the bill for the first one and that became "the great santa barbara oil slick."
