Here's the ska punk act The Amphetameanies, complete with their sheepish looking keyboard player "Lord Huntley" dead centre. Here he's thinking "Ska punk is awesome, but badly formed sentences about Japanese food would be even better".

Big Fey Al was also in The Yummy Fur, obv, and Wikipedia suggests he was on some Usurureussei Yasttastura recordings as well. Is this stuff better or worse than The Ordinary Boys' recordings as a nu-metal band?

This thread has the late 90s evening session band, it has his acolyte. All it is missing is a UK Hip Hop artist, a Dean Gaffney type minor celeb, a 2nd division footballer (retired) some wrestling, and some creepy misogyny + self-hatred and we are in passantino heaven

Well now we have the self-hatred.

You're just ripping off Pitor Skut's Ian McCulloch skit, Passantino.

This guy has "an evening in conversation with" type things in the fucking Glasgow Royal Concert Hall now. I should go to one and just shout "HUNTLEY, OLDER THAN YOU SAY YOU ARE, HISTORY OF SKA PUNK" until I get thrown out.
