So Melody Records in Dupont just put up their going out of business sign. I live two blocks away but almost never shopped there because the prices were so wrong - most new albums were between $15.99 and $17.99 pre-tax. They did have a really solid, strange collection of indie rock and dad rock, along with a lot of classical and jazz. At the clearance price of 20% off, I got 11 CD's for $150.
