really? tbrr tho her version of 'first we take...' is one of the few tracks i think is way inferior to cohen's and probably the most mid 80s this album gets

This is really difficult. I need to choose between "Song of Bernadette," "A Singer Must Die," and her noir-ish version of "Famous Blue Raincoat." The most underrated singer, ever.
