The Thee Oh Sees track is a much faster and harder version of an earlier released track. This version came out this year on the split with Total Control.

it still alarms me everytime to be reminded that a) there's a band that calls themselves Hype Williams and b) there are people that can bring themselves to listen to them.

tbh I would listen to Hype Williams the band over Pushy Parents, Humousexual, or Tunabunny if we are going srictly on horrible band names

It's a great record, I kinda slept on it until I saw Star Slinger doing his thing live and it was mindblowing, the way his beats seemed to fold in and explode on themselves.
