that new Elektra thing is officially under my skin...I am powerless to resist it's siren call...but so expensive!...well over a hundy, for just 5 discs...(and a book, a bunch of buttons, etc.)...I predict I will not make it to 2007 without breaking down...anybody else under the spell?...and what do we make of the (not nice) price?...and why couldn't this have been released last year, so that us vultures coulda picked it up at Tower, at a big discount?

And it was all cover versions, wasn't it, as opposed to the original songs. Hence "Step on" etc. Or am I barking etc?

no, that's the one...The Cure doing "Hello, I Love You" and all that...did They Might Be Giants do "We Will Rock You", or did I just hallucinate that one?

The Gypsy Kings did "Hotel California." I remember that solely because there was a coffee bar near an old workplace that played that cover non-stop.
