Reason is obvious. Drums, bass, with this loping rhythm guitar just for color. Kind of this Only-New-Order combination.

Hmm...I thought maybe it had the same notes as Ceremony or something like that, same notes as some other NO song. I'm not enough of a muso to figure that out, though. At least, not right now.

heh. it's not about the condos. And his "voice" is hardly the issue. No one is claiming the guy is Sinatra or anything.

His vocals are sloppy, but they're also almost always winking and knowing and totally appropriate to what he's saying.
