Is Mexico Headed Towards War?

Things are getting pretty heavy over there. The election
is contested and neither side is willing to back down. If I
was a Mexican I'd be a bit suspicious that the rightwing,
pro-america candidate won so handily. Would the US ever allow
a Hugo Chavez-like president coming to power in mexico?
Is it possible that the CIA interfered in the election? Of
course these are all conspiracy theories, but we've never
been above these dirty tricks int he past.
