I thought this thread would be about those blokes who, in the late eighties/early nineties, would go around trying to sell you speakers they had in their van. Or did this not happen to anyone else?

mark, it happened to everyone who was a student in the 90s and may still go on for all I know.

The speakers in the second pic are designed to get maximum efficiency, i.e the maximum sound power level for the minimum of input electrical power.
