I'll start with...

Alan Shearer
Gianfranco Zola

Now go...

(I shall be using this list to put together a team on PES6, btw.)

Here's Le Tissier, probably scoring some ridiculous goal. I'm sure I remember a period of about 2 years where he would score a wondergoal every fucking week, usually involving chipping the goalie after mazing through a hapless back 4.

how old is Juninho now?

resumo impetus (blueski), Tuesday, 13 February 2007 12:40 (seventeen years ago) link

Only 33, apparently still playing in Brazil. Slightly surprised by this.

Michael Annoyman (Michael Annoyman), Tuesday, 13 February 2007 13:26 (seventeen years ago) link

And where is Emerson these days?

resumo impetus (blueski), Tuesday, 13 February 2007 13:27 (seventeen years ago) link

The whole premise of this thread is daft. Almost everyone I think of played for one of those three teams at some point. It's like saying "Name the most famous legendary people from Sherwood Forest apart from Robin Hood, Little John and Friar Tuck".

Can I have Waddle? His greatest days were pre-Prem, but he was still pretty handy for Sheffield Wednesday. Did he play for Bradford as well?

Teh HoBBx (HoBB), Tuesday, 13 February 2007 13:44 (seventeen years ago) link

yes. he scored an amazing Trevor Sinclair style overhead kick for Bradford one time i think.
