I'm getting off this rock for two weeks and hitting up Chicago, New York, and LA.

Itinerary:

Chicago: Early morning January 19th - January 24th
NYNY: January 24th - January 28th
LA: January 28th - January 31st

I've got friends and family in all three, but aside from a wedding and a DJ gig in Chicago (tuesday the 23rd in Chinatown), very few plans. I am traveling alone and have never been to New York.

I don't want to make this yet another "coming to XX what do i do here" thread, but srsly: shows, FAPs, events, vegetarian eats, record stores, whats happening?

Oh, and it had better be nice and wintry in Chicago and NY.

Heck yes, if possible, though it's not as easy for me to get up there during the week as it is the weekend. Your timing is just off, though, as the legendary Donut Mackro is going to be here two weekends previous.

Fuckin' beautiful. And yeah, there's plenty of vegetarian and vegan goodness to be had in my neck of the woods; tell him it'll be worth a trip. (Oh, also, need to chat with you about HawaiiFAP, as my family has some hotel plans and questions which you might well be able to help answer...)

Do any New Yorker's know how to find out if there will be a Mancuso party when I'm there. His website isn't any help.
