What's your speed and accuracy?

I tend to fall between 57 and 65 wpm, 97% accuracy.

I took a typing test when I applied at a temp agency after college, and I got 80+ WPM. It got me a year of data entry work and I haven't taken a typing test since.

I feel like I should be faster, but compared to a couple other people I compared with yesterday, I am doing OK.

I got much lower than I normally get on these tests: 35-40 wpm (is what I got, now). I achieved around a dozen errors. But I have had seven pints of beer.

I actually, took this same test last week, in prepare for a job interview/typing test for a data entry job. Then, I scored 92 WPM. I don't remember the accuracy. I didn't get the job because I look like I'm 15, despite my age of 23. FUCK

In middle school typing class, I was the leader in typing speed all year, at around 70 WPM. Then, a few weeks away from the end of the semester, the typing teacher was sick for a week. MIRACULOUSLY, some kid (STEVE S I WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR LYING FACE) improved his speed from 50 WPM to over 200, and earned school-wide lame fame, and a spot on an Oprah "kid geniuses" episode. I swear to whatever is in control of the cosmos that Steve S is a lying cheater. Later he got me too drunk in college and I fell off a cliff.

THE END, ALL A TRUE STORY

Yeah, and I've had a few drinks tonight, too. Time to look for another cliff I guess.
