Did anyone watch "The Lost Room?"

I want to like this series. I like the idea. It could use a new casting agent. And it could lose that Scifi network feeling that it has. It also annoyed me that before each commercial break a clip of 'next on The Lost Room' would show exactly what was going to happen next. Maybe I just miss Six Feet Under.

I watched it. Not so good! Mildly entertaining. There were some major plot glitches...but I like the notion of the objects, and the hilarious discussions about them.

i want to watch it but can't seem to get in front of the tv any of the 10 times they run it each day. is it a REAL series, miniseries? i thought it was just a regular movie.

It's three episodes. The third episode is two hours. It's a mini-mini series? or a long movie in three short parts, except for the third part, which is regular movie length? It definitely left an opening or ten for continuing the premise...

I thought it could of been handled much better under a different channel. I hope I don't offend anyone in saying this, but the Scifi Network is lame. Aside from having X-files manathons, everything is cheap effects and weak charaters. What I don't understand, Is if your budget doesn't allow you to have believable effects, why opt for lame ones that distract from the story? Why not alude to something, instead of showing me how unbelievable it actually is? Does anyone think this is a problem inherent in science friction, because I want to like scifi series or movies. Once I see lame effects or weak plot lines, I lose interest. I rarely have this problem with horror flims, and I like Lost and even X-Files.
