Diet Mountain Dew

I know this isn't a new drink or anything, but I was just thinking: is the production of Diet Mountain Dew an effect of the original target market of teh Dew (GO XTREEM DO THE DEW) hitting its late 20s/early 30s?

I had the absolute biggest douchebag of an English teacher Sr. year of HS. Well, he wasn't a douchebag really as much as an idiotic dolt--he wasn't mean, he just pretty much forbade thinking in the classroom (e.g. asking questions phrased to give the answer away, or asking questions with extremely obvious answers, etc) and he had this god-awful moustache and snakeskin boots/suits. And every morning he had a fucking can of Diet Mountain Dew.

So the moral of the story is that Diet Mountain Dew is for douchebag english teachers.

OH god that's the worst. At least drink like SoBe No Fear; it's the tastiest by far. Some people were at our college giving them away and i got like 5 cans (but I liked it before that too)

I'm sure it's in diet.

The only rationale I can think of for drinking diet is that you want the caffiene without the teeth-melting effects of all that sugar.

AMP, Mountain Dew's energy drink is foul and make my head tingle. It kept me awake during many thrilling library school classes.

I think they make a Diet AMP too. So wrong.
