StanM (StanM), Monday, 4 December 2006 22:46 (nineteen years ago)

whoop de doodle (kenan), Monday, 4 December 2006 22:47 (nineteen years ago)

How can you have that thing in your house, teeny? I get a mag with ONE of those things and I feel like I'm going to pass out.

Marmot (marmotwolof), Monday, 4 December 2006 22:52 (nineteen years ago)

I tore them all out, that's why it was easy to count.

teeny (teeny), Monday, 4 December 2006 22:53 (nineteen years ago)

yeah but i bet the mag still reeks

Marmot (marmotwolof), Monday, 4 December 2006 22:55 (nineteen years ago)

yep :(

teeny (teeny), Monday, 4 December 2006 22:56 (nineteen years ago)

luckily vogue takes 15 minutes to "read"

teeny (teeny), Monday, 4 December 2006 22:57 (nineteen years ago)

It's best to just tear all the pages out and make a fucked up collage.

Marmot (marmotwolof), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:01 (nineteen years ago)

tom ford black orchid
hermes elixir dex merveilles
gucci eau de parfum II
prada
banana republic alabaster
nautica voyage
ysl opium
juicy couture
estee lauder pleasure
dior j'adore
paris hilton heiress
estee lauder beautiful - precious drops ltd edition

in other words TWELVE.

teeny (teeny), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:22 (nineteen years ago)

so kingfish was the closest then! :P

Louis Jagger (Scourage), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:24 (nineteen years ago)

I feel I should make a concession speech.

whoop de doodle (kenan), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:26 (nineteen years ago)

Marmot is closer than I.

kingfish in absentia (kingfish), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:30 (nineteen years ago)

Do any of them actually smell good?

StanM (StanM), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:32 (nineteen years ago)

PUT YOUR HANDS UP FOR MARMOT- HE LOVES BEING QUITE CLOSE WHEN GUESSING THE NUMBER OF PERFUME SAMPLES IN THE DECEMBER 2006 VOGUE

Dom Passantino (DomPassantino), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:32 (nineteen years ago)

not initially
x-post

Marmot (marmotwolof), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:32 (nineteen years ago)

hah, that could actually be a reply to any of the last three posts.

Marmot (marmotwolof), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:33 (nineteen years ago)

oh yeah kf when kenan originally asked I guess you were both closest at the time. My apologies to those trying to do the math.

Paris Hilton's thing smells like bubble gum and flop sweat.

teeny (teeny), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:36 (nineteen years ago)

not as bad as you'd think then.

Marmot (marmotwolof), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:37 (nineteen years ago)

the tom ford one was great for three seconds but then I put it on and it smelled like vanilla car freshener.

teeny (teeny), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:38 (nineteen years ago)

I think the hermes one was nice but I can't be sure, I think it's going to take some serious time for my nostrils to get over tom ford.

teeny (teeny), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:39 (nineteen years ago)

the hermes one is one of the greatest perfume samples of all-time...and deserves its place amongst the pantheon of prada, juicy couture, davis, and banana republic alabaster.

Louis Jagger (Scourage), Monday, 4 December 2006 23:55 (nineteen years ago)

Do the smell of these mix all together? Can you indivituate them, or is it just one mess of Eau de Sample?

Abbott (Abbott), Tuesday, 5 December 2006 01:04 (nineteen years ago)

estee lauder beautiful - precious drops ltd edition

haha! snappy!

pisces (pisces), Wednesday, 6 December 2006 17:15 (nineteen years ago)

I liked the Tom Ford one, it didn't turn too vanilla on me but yeah, it's missing some kind of spicy undernote big time.

All of the other perfumes made me want to kill a bitch.

Allyzay is cool: with Blue n White, with Eli Manning, with NY Giants (Allyzay Ei, Wednesday, 6 December 2006 17:20 (nineteen years ago)

As a teenager, I used to tear these things out and line my drawers with them. As a result, I always smelled of a mixture of Obsession and Narcisse. Not a good combo.

Madchen (Madchen), Wednesday, 6 December 2006 17:22 (nineteen years ago)

The bonus to the Tom Ford one was that it was one of those packet things with a perfume wipe in it, instead of the infernal scent strip.

yeah tom ford obv has some jack to throw around!

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 6 December 2006 17:52 (nineteen years ago)

black orchid's really pricey, isn't it? i'm glad i can scratch at least one thing off the expensive-things-i-might-want-but-won't-be-able-to-afford-list.
