According to Matt the Dragan, Insane Clown Posse uses violent lyrics to draw in people from violent backgrounds, and then domesticate them.

I recently started listening to the Bill Burr podcast. In his June 15th episode, he answered a listener question. A new father wrote in, describing his conflicting emotions about his girlfriend. Thinking about leaving her and what to do about their infant daughter. Bill gives, what I would consider, pretty good advice about how to think about the situation. But he also uses some dismissive language about the girlfriend’s concerns. In other words, the advice is quite thoughtful, but it does not present that way.

I’ve known of Bill for a while, but I always thought the way he talked about women was kinda angry, and so I never really followed his comedy. But now I’m wondering, is this his way of domesticating the misogynists?
