Basic S/D, but also: Are there any good comps available or are you better off just grabbing a Lydia Lunch retrospective?

there's a 2LP comp called Hysterie that's a good overview of her early bands, a side for each band

20-25 mins worth of classics!

well duh! The song that has James Chance on it is probably my fave. Lydia and Rowland S. Howard (who have a track on that comp zappi mentioned) do a killer, warped version of "Some Velvet Morning" that is youtube-able.

this has everything they did plus all? of the Beirut Slump stuff so get that, I haven't got it cos I have the "Everything" comp on Atavistic which isn't actually everything cos there's songs on the above comp that aren't on it.

thx FE that sounds awesome!
2 questions about Hysterie: a) is there a side for 8-Eyed Spy, & b) is it coming out on non-vinyl?

Yes, this is awesome, I have it on the Widowspeak comp that came out in the late 90s.
