Anyone listening to the Nick and Artie show? It's been pretty good the last week.

Artie also killed it when they went to Jimmy Kimmel's show in November.

i think it's gotten better since they veered away from nick fighting to keep things on track and just breaking down into... i dunno, i love artie when he gets sluggish and combative. shit like the ending on the aircon shit last night makes me fucking laugh.

did you see him with joy behar?

I did...has anyone seemed more out of place? And more awkward discussing a suicide attempt on a set with flowers behind him while sipping coffee?

yeah... there are always those guys calling into the show saying, hey, artie, keep your head up, i feel your pain, you got me through some tough shit. this is gonna sound dumb. the heroin stuff is fair game and rehab jokes are okay but it never goes too far, does it? it's sort of touching to see a bunch of assholes rallying around artie and joking about his issues without being assholes. it's sort of touching to see nick dipaolo being mother hen-ish, all protective of his boy.

so, it was kind of weird for joy behar to lay into him and ask why he didn't just cut his wrists (and then asking to confirm that their radio show is 3 hours of misogyny).

the first hour of the show tonight, on the 23rd was great, man...

the fucked up cold intro with the bruce song, artie being blacklisted in the sportstalk world due because he's "the guy that ruined the joe buck show," iran barkley as matt barkley ("i'm majoring in chemistry")...
